In our #paxpar journey to bring compliance to any kind of document, we are often dealing with CAD/BIM files.

We want to check some values in those CAD/BIM projects:

  • the area of a given room to be in an expected range
  • all the window to have a given thermal performance
  • a minmum value for all roof angle

We rely on the parametric values defined in the CAD/BIM files. #FreeCAD has a nice #spreadsheet feature where you can defined your parametric values as spreasheet named value:
